Catchr – Find out what happened to your iPhone while you were away

Certainly, no one likes it when their iPhone and all the private data on it falls into the hands of strangers. And just recently, an interesting app called Catchr appeared in the App Store, which can partially solve this problem.

However, Catchr does not protect against wiretapping by intelligence agencies or hacker attacks – that’s the truth. But there are plenty of jokers and curious individuals around who want to take your smartphone and “play around” with it. That’s why the Catchr app was developed, which helps track when and what was launched in the absence of the true owner of a specific iPhone.

The main purpose of the program, as conceived by the developers from Nordlogic, is to provide peace of mind. You rightly consider your smartphone to be personal, almost intimate gadget, but you are not sure if others share such an attitude? Or, worse still, they are eager to show unwarranted curiosity and it is no longer clear who among friends can be trusted and who should be wary of. As for significant others, there is nothing to say, unfounded jealousy is a scary thing.

Catchr helps solve the problem easily and fun, almost playfully, but the developers warn – there are limitations. According to the rules of the App Store, they cannot create applications that track the work of two basic iOS programs: Mail and Phone, but all others are as clear as day.

To control Catchr, you only need two buttons, “start” and “stop”, in addition, it can track the movement of the device on the ground using navigation tools. However, this can lead to battery power consumption, so this mode should be chosen carefully.
